Back story: our client’s father walked from a Russian POW camp after WW2 and was later sent to the United States to return a captured German warship.
This 2-day apartment estate sale features a home full of mid-century solid Teak furniture, WW2 militaria, antiques and a great selection of household items with three generations of German family military collectibles being sold. Included are a circa 1950 Wuerttemberg police helmet, a Bavarian china coffee service, paintings by several German artists and framed photos of warships. Worth mentioning are the elephant figurines, silverware, Twist abdominal trainer and several reference books with many in German. Lots of great housewares, high-end small appliances, decorative area rugs, a computer with accessories, FSTV, audio electronics, men’s clothing, stereo gear, and a chest full of hand tools.
