Charlotte McFarland
Charlotte is a well-known person in the local community of quilters, doll makers, and fabric artists. Since her works were featured in printed catalogue that were digitized, they can only be found today through specific searches such as Patchwork Quilt Tsushin, Omnigrid, International Quilt Week Yokohama.
Her displayed & exhibited quilted works include:
- KCTS broadcast called ‘Quilts of the Northwest’ with her quilt ‘Milky Way’
- ‘California Dreamin’ and ‘Omingrid 6×12’ were displayed at the APNW Quilt Exhibition in 1998
- ‘OminiGrid 6×12’ quilt was exhibited in Japan and displayed in a copy of Patchwork Tsushin magazine in Japan. It was displayed in the Quilt Week Yokohama in Oct 1998

Jim McFarland
Jim is a signature member or FCA (Federation of Canadian Artists) whose landscape paintings have been featured in numerous juried exhibitions across Western Canada and the United States. He frequently displayed his works in high-profile group shows on Granville Island and in Victoria. Jim often appeared at the Moss Street Paint Ins and regularly participated in juried shows focusing on acrylic and plein air (painting in outdoor daylight) techniques. His exhibits include the Nanaimo FCA Spring show, the Ladysmith Fine Arts Multimedia Juried Show, Sooke Fine Arts Show, The South Delta Oil and Water Juried Show, Northwind Arts Center, Port Townsend, Washington to name a few.
