This 2-day Sat-Sun sale reflects the Victorian spirit of a 102-year-old pioneer with rarities such as an original 1917 British Columbia license plate. The mid-century and Victorian furniture are a collectors dream come true with a Rococo Bergere chair and every item is in outstanding condition. There are three matching mid-century leather slipper chairs that are swoon-worthy, plus three Victorian chairs that are equally impressive. The 1950s wrought iron patio furniture has been protected from the elements in the sunroom for many years. Also amazing is the collection of 1970s tulip lights and a great selection of vintage stereo gear, plus an old beauty salon chair. The key work here is ‘vintage’ in clothing, jewelry, accessories and fine shoes. The same goes for the eclectic collection of tin art and funky collectibles, like a sock hop case. Housewares and tools include a Craftsman gas lawn mower, woodchipper portable washing machine and a Harrowsmith wood stove.
